When starting a new work at home business it is very easy to become consumed by it. We spend so much time trying to get the business up and running that we may end up becoming burned out and lose our motivation. Are you at the end of your rope like me? I have to admitthat Im really tired. Since trying to avoid going outinto the real world and getting another J.O.B., I havespent countless hours on the Internet, trying to build ahome business. I havent gotten very far.Giving up seems the only alternative. I have listened totoo much advice, signed up for too many programs and spenttoo much time getting nowhere. Does any of this soundfamiliar? Do you feel like giving up?When my first husband left me two days after Christmas formy best friend, I felt like giving up. When I lost my jobtwo months later because the same best friend had moreseniority than me, I felt like giving up. A couple ofweeks later, my car died and a couple of days later, my TVshot craps. I REALLY felt like giving up. But my mothersaid something to me, only to make me laugh, but she wasright. It can only go up from here. Now, 11 years later, I just celebrated my 10-yearanniversary with my fabulous husband. I have had severaldifferent occupations, some of which I loved, some of whichI hated. All of which made me realize that I wanted to bemy own boss. I wanted to be in control, decide how thingswould be run and work hard to further my career, notsomeone elses. Does any of this sound familiar? Do youreally want your own business? I do admit that I have learned more in the last four monthsthat I have in the last 4 years. I have learned marketing,promotion, self-discipline, communication and many otherskills I didnt have before I started this. I have mademistakes but I know that everyone makes mistakes and smartpeople learn from them so I guess that makes me a genius.Wow, I have come a long way. I do believe in the businesses that I have chosen. I dontreally want to give up. I am intelligent, I have courageand I love this World Wide Web. I know the key to mysuccess is out there somewhere, if I keep working hard.Frankly, this is where I want to be. Does this soundfamiliar? You know success is possible;people with less intelligence and less drive are doing iteveryday.
