Even though there are a lot of people out there talking about how difficult it can be, it doesn't have to be if you know where to start! I'm going to show you just how simple it really can be to get started in the world of affiliate marketing, and we might even have some fun along the way.So it may sound a little scary at first, but the term affiliate marketing is actually a huge term that could mean any number of different things. In layman's terms all it means is that you are selling a company's products, and in exchange for your salesmanship, they are going to give you a nice little compensation. Doesn't that sound nice?The natural progression of things usually leads to people asking how they're supposed to sell this stuff. Good to see you're on the ball here, but let's do the "what" before we do the "how". What is it you would like to sell? Or better yet, how do we find things to sell? The best part is that most of your favorite online retailers have affiliate programs. Ebay? Yep. Amazon? Of course. Larry's Lifesize Ant Farms? For sure. Go ahead and try it out, hit up your favorite retailer on the internet, and check out their site for an "affiliates" section. Once you find the page, you should read through their terms and make sure you find out what kind of commission they offer on products that you would want to promote. Some websites offer great commission percentages, and others don't, so do your research!So we've got our product, great! This is the best part, we now have to get inside people's heads on why they should really buy this product. What's going to happen now is we need to write an article that gets people emotionally involved with your product. If you really take your time and write an amazing article, it will make your income that much better with this project. We now are going to submit our perfect articles to article directories. To find these just type "article directory" into Google, and the more you submit to the better. In all seriousness, if you wanna make some cash you'll have to submit these to quite a few directories. You should notice a section of each submission form called the resource box. This is where you want to put your affiliate link for the product so they know how to get to it and you still get credit for the sale.Was this so hard? Not even close! We have just finished what is called article marketing, a very popular way of gaining money quickly without a big time or cash commitment.
