However, there may be times when it becomes a bit difficult to measure these KPIs correctly and when this happens, the task becomes all the more complex as a result. And this is just one of the challenges that you would have to face when developing this type of scorecard. Another challenge pertains to the coordination of the events and activities of different groups and their members. There is a need to keep all of the efforts unified towards the shared task at hand, which is to manage natural disasters effectively. This can be difficult, especially when you start calculating values for your parameters and you start of at the wrong foot. If any of these KPIs are identified incorrectly, then this could be disastrous for the whole endeavor.With all the KPIs lined up in a strategic natural disaster management scorecard, you then have a more focused approach in determining the areas that are more prone to these natural disasters since these are the areas that need more attention.
