The exports of electronic products from different Asian countries grew signicantly in March, with most products experiencing double digit percentage growth on both an annual and a sequential basis, according to different market research companies of the world over.Total cell phone exports in March this year reached 61 million units, up 54 percent from April last year and up 52 percent from the same period in 2009. Notebook exports in March this year grew to 14 million units, up 32 percent sequentially and rising 50 percent from a year earlier. The export market for different Asian countries' Liquid Crystal Display Televisions (LCDTV) increased by 31 percent to 3.4 million units compared to April, and by 56 percent compared to March 2009.Nearly all global leading electronics manufacturersincluding OEMs, Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) and Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs)have their facilities in grown in the Asian countries today apart from the countries very own local brands.
