Take a Speed TestFor Speed Test, you will need laptop or computer which you have to connect to the router using network cable.This can establish a stable connection between your device running the speed test and router.Now open a browser and Go to www.speedtest.net and Run the Test.Run this test 3 or 4 times over period of 10 minutes, you will get result about speed of your internet connection.Note: Speed test taken on this platform are on servers outside of our network and sometimes internet performance is not shown accurately.You can call your internet service provider and ask them to take a speed test on your behalf and then compare it with your internet speed result.Troubleshoot Slow SpeedIf internet speed test is not as you expected or as you paying for then restart your router. But its top speed is slower. 5GHZ: This is newer standard and works faster but less likely to penetrate through solid walls and other barriers.So if you are using wireless router model that supports 5GHZ and 2.4GHZ, you will have at least two channels. Save the 5G channel in that for your speediest 5GHZ devices.What if your ISP is slow?
