Chris Tomlin is known as a Christian Contemporary Musician plus a song writer and leading worshiper in many churches. Currently, signed to the EMI six step records, some of Tomlin's top songs are: "How great is our god", "Jesus Messiah" and "Our God".Tomlin is also a worship leader in Atlanta Georgia's Passion City Church.Chris Tomlin was awarded as the Male Vocalist of the year in 2006, 07 and 08 in the Dove Awards. Along with such exuberant career, Tomlin was also nominated as the Artist of the Year in 2007.Early LifeChristopher was born in 1972, in Texas-USA, to Mr and Mrs Tomlin. Chris has two brothers, both younger to him.Tomlin, in his younger age, was diagnosed with glandular fever; this was the time when his father bought Chris his first guitar at the age of eleven. These albums were "See the morning" and "Live from Austin Music Hall"-certified at Gold by the RIAA with the top songs listed as the best 5 most listened songs in the Christian billboard hot song charts, making him win the Artist of the Year Award in the same year.Chris Tomlin decided to move from the church for which he put in great efforts from Austin, Texas to work with Louie Giglio in his church in Atlanta Georgia.This is where he released an album on Christmas occasion in 2009, called the "Glory in the Highest," which featured three Christmas musicals with Matt Redman, Christy Nockels and Audrey Assad and was ranked in the top 10 on the billboard list, leading the vacation albums.A new album was in the making that came to front in the year 2010 and it was decided by Tomlin that it would be called "and if our God is for Us" and later that year on 23rd of August, the first song from the very album was released on air through radio.Personal LifeTomlin was married to his girlfriend, Lauren in the 9th month of 2010 and now has a daughter; the couple named her Ashlyn Alexandra Tomlin.
