It´s great to have something to do that you are interested in and like to spend your time doing when not at work or taking care of your family. Maybe you don´t know what you are interested in and don´t give yourself enough time to think about what you would like to do in your free time. Don´t rush into anything; first check out all the possibilities.You should consider what you have always liked to do, what you liked to do as a child. Do you like spending you time with other people or do you like to be on you own. Do you like to create things or do you like to learn to use what others have created. Are you energetic and like to do something exciting, like climbing mountains or hang-gliding or are you more of a calm type and like to sew or make pottery. Don´t let the thought that you can´t do it or you are not good enough stop you. You can always learn if you are intrested. You just have to practice and don´t give up. It´s much more important that you feel inside you that this is something that you really like to do. Write down a list of the things you like the most and then find the pros and cons of each thing on the list. Choose from the list the item that has the most pros and least cons to find out how to start. The next thing to do is to consider if you know how to do what you chose from the list. Can you learn it by yourself or do you maybe need to register for a training course and learn it there? For many people it's more fun and often easier to go to a training course because the instructor can guide you. Then try it out for a few weeks. It often takes some time to figure out if what you chose to do was the right choice for you. If you don´t like it after a few weeks then try something else until you have found what you have the most fun doing.
