Inorder to make this decision it was important for them to understand thedifferences between the two grades of binders. Here are some of thedifferences: All of GBC's premium line of ClearView clearoverlay binders use solid heavy duty chipboard for the front, back andspine. Many of the binders from GBC's standard line of clear overlaybinders use fluted chipboard for the front, back and spine.GBC's premium line of ClearView binders are covered with a non-stickclear overlay vinyl. This non stick vinyl prevents ink and toner fromtransferring to the binder. Although the vinyl looks similar on bothtypes of binders, the standard binders do not have non stick vinyl.Thus, toner may eventually transfer from your binder inserts onto theclear vinyl..The pockets on the GBC premium line ofbinders are 4-1/2" deep while the pockets on the standard line ofbinders are 3-1/2" deep.
