This makes it one of the leastexpensive electric plastic comb binding machines available on themarket.The electric punching mechanism on the C110e allowsyou to quickly and easily punch up to 15 sheets of 20lb paper with thesimple push of a button. All you need to do is insert your pages intothe front of the machine and press the button to activate the electricpunch.The C110e includes a high quality heavy duty plasticcomb opener that is made of metal. Many smaller plastic comb bindingmachines have comb openers that are made of plastic which can easilybreak. The comb opener on the C110e is designed for opening combs thatare up to 1-1/2" in diameter for binding up to 300 sheets of 20lbpaper. This is adequate to meet the needs of most organizations. Weaknesses / Limitations: Although the C110e has three size settings on its edgeguide for letter size paper, oversized covers and A4 paper in the US itonly has 19 punching dies. This means that you need to flip the pagesover and punch them a second time to produce the A4 punching pattern.This isn't a huge deal unless you are buying this machine to punch andbind documents for use in Europe.The C110e does not includeany disengageable dies. This means that you cannot use the C110e forpunching custom lengths of paper. It is designed for punching letterand legal sized documents only. This machine also does not have a depthof punch adjustment. A depth of punch margin control allows users tomove the holes closer to the edge of the paper for binding extremelysmall books and further from the edge of the paper for binding largerdocuments. Without this feature, the C110e should not be used with3/16" combs or with combs that are larger than 1-1/2".Thepunching mechanism on the C110e can punch up to 15 sheets of 20lb paperper lift.
