Its twohorsepower motor also allows it to run at a pretty decent speed of 35feet per minute. These are great numbers for a Level 6 shredder. The 20394 is very easy to operate and includes safety features such asAuto shutoff when the cabinet door is opened, and an automatic reversein case you try to overfeed the machine. There is also a setting forauto on/off and the machine will let you know (and turn itself off)when the shred bag is full. The casters are a very nice feature, considering that this machine weighs in at around 390 lbs.Weaknesses: Thoughit's hard to argue with having the level of security that is thehighest available on the market, this machine might be consideredoverkill for the vast majority of businesses in the private sector. Thesheet capacity is high for a Level 6 machine, but if you and yourbusiness are simply looking to become FACTA compliant where it concernsthe shredding of the private information of your clients, customers andemployees, you will get along just fine (and likely enjoy highercapacity and thus productivity) with one of Dahle's Levels 3-5 securitylevel machines. This is a weighty machine, and when itarrives, you would be well advised to have some help getting it off thetruck and into its final destination.
