Our testing showed that, if we fanned the pagesacross the entire width of the paper feed opening, that the shredderwas able to perform at of near the stated capacity more often than not.This kind of capacity can vary greatly, it is important to know,according to various factors such as the relative quality of the powersupply in your building, the weight and thickness of the paper you areshredding at any given time, and even the relative humidity of theregion in which you live. Any way you slice it, however (pun intended),the 4004 Strip Cut is a high-capacity shredder. 3. We found Operating the Destroyit 4004 Strip Cut to be very simple. Asingle rocker switch controls all of the functions, so the user isnever unsure of the machine's operational mode. Sensors at the feedenable automatic on/off function, so you set the machine for simple"walk away" operation, meaning your time spent at the shredder isshortened. 4. If you want a similar machine thatadheres to the requirements of FACTA, you should take a look at theCross Cut version of the 4004, which offers all the same features at aslightly lower, but still impressive, sheet capacity.
