Manyanimals have shown enormous courage and wisdom in making right decision at somepoint in time that the corporate man must learn. Every decision must be taken with completecognition of the situational and absolute realities. Manyanimals like wolf, tiger, beaver, raccoon, mink, fox etc., are reported to chewoff their legs when it caught or trapped in leghold trap. When the leg of the animals gets trapped inthe leghold traps set by the poachers and hunters, damages the leg severely,especially the skin and bone. Most ofthe leghold traps have metal jaws that tighten its grip, piercing the flesh andbone when animal struggle to escape the trap. Untilthe trapper kills the trapped animal, the suffering due to the crude nature ofthe trap and the fear of death will continue. It has been reported that one out of every four animal that gets trappedin leghold trap chew off their leg and escapes. Thequestion of the suffering inflicted to the animals by the trap and the fate ofthe animals that are escaped from the leghold trap after chewing off the leg isnot taken up for discussion in the article. The corporate must understand the decision making power of the animalsespecially during the hour of distress or crisis. Withoutone leg, surviving in jungle for the animal, either as prey or predator isdifficult. But no trapped animal everseems to accept such logic easily. The only difference is that, for animals, thehunters and poachers set the trap but, the employees set such traps bythemselves in the corporate. Theyaccept the suffering and never dare to seek freedom. They assume that freedom means, somelimitation. If a fox or wolf ever doubtabout its capability to live with three legs, would not have chewed off theleg. But they never have accepted thesame. Situational(subjective) reality is different from absolute reality. The subjective reality compels the employeesto believe and accept that life is not possible beyond the corporate theywork. Hence they accept and endure allsufferings and live a miserable life. Manyanimals in the jungle are reported to live in freedom and success with threelegs. They took not only right but boldand brave decision as well and that is how become successful. Bitingoff the trapped leg is definitely a painful process. But the more painful is to live with the painof the trap until it is killed brutally. This philosophy is well understood by animals in the jungle. Whenthe leg is trapped in the leghold trap, indeed the animal suffers from severepain due to the metal jaws of the trap. Chewing off the leg is alsopainful. If the animals were willing totake such decision, the sufferings and imminent death can be avoided. If the decision were different, suffer untildeath, and die at the end. They tookright decision.
