Key Responsibilities:Troubleshoot AC/DC drivesPerform preventative maintenance for electrical and pneumatic control systemsReads blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work proceduresMove machinery as necessary to dismantle, repair and/or adjust as needed.Build new panels and replace components as directedInstalls power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment such as Robots, injection moulding machines, blowers and fans.Performs diagnostic measures and repairs malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, circuit boards and light fixtures and replaces damaged or broken wires and cablesTests malfunctioning machinery and discusses malfunction with other maintenance workers to identify malfunctionReplaces and/or rewires faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches, bearings and motors and positions sensing devicesExperience with safety circuit components installation, troubleshooting and repairsMust have excellent communication skills to ensure any urgent matters, machinery defects, malfunctions and any safety concerns are promptly communicated to peers and Supervisor.Education, Qualifications and Experience:Licensed Industrial Electrician (442-A)4+ years’ experience as an Electrician in a manufacturing facilityAllen Bradley PLC experience (PLC5/SLC/Compact Logix)Must have experience with robotics, pneumatics, and hydraulic systemsMust have experience with servo controls, variable frequency drives and motor controlsPanel building experienceMust have advanced troubleshooting and repair skillsMust have working knowledge of electronic systemsMust be able to read and follow blueprints and electrical schematic diagramsMust be familiar with lock out and safety practicesMust be able to understand technical instruction and operate a personal computerGood oral and written communication skillsMust be able to work well with minimum supervision in a team environmentAbout Pure Staffing SolutionsPure Staffing Solutions Inc. represents the full spectrum of staffing services for qualified personnel to meet the evolving needs of companies - from small, emerging growth companies to Fortune 500 clients; no challenge is too big or too small.
