Motorist who are going over the speed limit and are caught, have to go to court and/or pay a fine.  This can be very frustrating.  There are certain vehicles that are known for speeding and are likely to get caught.  However, there are vehicles that do not get as many speeding citations as others.  AOL Auto did a survey on these vehicles and came up with a top 10 list.  Many of the vehicles on the list are not the latest models.  Some are from previous years.  It is a combination of cars, pick up trucks and SUVs.  We start with number 8 because there are some ties in the list. Once again, imagine David Letterman with this top 10 list on his late-night show:#8 Least Ticketed cars is the Jaguar XJ Sedan with a Speeding Ticket Rating: 89% less likely.  The XJ is Jaguar's most rarified entry, a gorgeous vehicle renowned for its plush amenities, velvety ride and sport-performance capabilities, due in part to being built on a lightweight but fortified all-aluminum frame. Engine choices include the 300-hp 4.2-liter V8 and the 400-hp 4.2-liter supercharged V8. Standard power plant on the RWD is a 295-hp 4.8-liter V8 hitched to a four-speed auto trans, while FWD models get a standard 320-hp 5.3-liter V8 with GM's Active Fuel Management technology.                                                                                                           #5 Least Ticketed vehicles is the Chevrolet C1500, K1500, 2500HD, 3500HD with a Speeding Ticket Rating: 72% less likely.  It's hard to pin down data in terms of features, engine size, price range, etc., because for the purposes of the study, Quality Planning combined a several Chevy 2500 / 3500 pick-ups of similar body style from over a long time period -- from the old C/K line that quit production in 1999, to the newer HD models.                                                                                                                                     #4 Least Ticketed cars is the 2005 Buick Park Avenue with a Speeding Ticket Rating of 68% less likely to get a ticket.  The Park Avenue's second generation was introduced in the late '90s, and by the time it was retired after the 2005 model year, it was Buick's flagship model. Available as either a "base" or the Ultra, the Park Avenue offered two engine options -- a 205-hp 3.8-liter V6 and a 240-hp 3.6-liter supercharged V6.                                                                                                                                          #3 Least Ticketed automobile is the Mazda6 with a Speeding Ticket Rating of 66% less likely to get caught for speeding.  The popular Mazda6 was redesigned for '09. The new edition is more spacious and has gone upscale, offering more high-end amenities, as it tries to take some market share away from the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord. It now only comes as a four-door sedan, and the new engine choices are the 170-hp 2.5-liter four-cylinder and the 272-hp 3.7-liter V6.                                                                                                 #2 (tied) Least Ticketed vehicle is the 2007 Buick Rainier with a Speeding Ticket Rating of 63% less likely to be pulled over for speeding.  The Rainier was only discontinued recently, after the '07 model year, so there are still plenty of them on the road. It's luxury-line SUV that has much to offer, from a crisp ride to luxe-line appointments like leather upholstery, wood grain accents, and OnStar telematics. The base engine is a 291-hp 4.2-liter inline six-cylinder.                                                                                              #2 (tied) Least Ticketed car is the 2004 Oldsmobile Silhouette Speeding with a Ticket Rating of 63% less likely to be caught for driving too fast.  This was also the final year for the Silhouette; an upscale minivan The Silhouette delivered premium-level comforts, however -- particularly the Premiere edition, with its then-state-of-the-art entertainment system. Spacious and comfy, the Silhouette delivered a smooth ride, and was powered by a 185-hp 3.4-liter V6.                                                                                                  And the number 1 vehicles least ticketed are two vehicles from 2009: the Buick Lucerne and the GMC Sierra 1500.   They both have a Speeding Ticket Rating of 60% less likely to be stopped for speeding.                                                                                                                            The Lucerne is now Buick's flagship sedan, offering elegance, a fine ride and high style. It comes in three flavors: the CX and CXL are powered by the new-for-'09 227-hp 3.9-liter V6, while the Super still gets is muscle from the 292-hp 4.6-liter Northstar V8.
