Thebottom line is that you need to be very careful when reading GMAT problems.Moreover, you must be precise and thoughtful when labeling your variables. Inproblem solving questions, there are answers that can be eliminated right away.If you are running out of time, this is the best way to do it. Eliminate theobviously wrong answers and guess. Never leave a blank space. Your choice mightbe correct. Often, by simply determining the sign of the answer, whether it ispositive or negative and the rough value of the answer, you can rule out ananswer or two and improve your odds of guessing the correct answer.
