Dance artist Amber has been a fixture on the dance music scene since 1996. Shes had more than a dozen top ten hits in America and has worked with a whos who of remix artists, including Hex Hector, the legendary Thunderpuss, Jason Nevins, Yinon Yahel, and Tracy Young. Here are ten dance music remixes by Amber that you should have in your iPod:1. This is Your Night (2008 Show Mix). Amber released a brand new version of her 90s dance music classic in 2008. The new release left behind the familiar keyboard riff and updated the song for today's dance floors. 2. One More Night (Hani). "One More Night" was a ballad in it's original form and was mixed by Hani in a dance tempo for single release. The Hani remix was Amber's third American top ten in a row and helped to consolidate her reputation as a clubland diva to watch.3. Sexual (Li Da Di) (Thunderpuss Remix). Cowritten with songwriters Rick Nowels (Stevie Nicks, Madonna) and Billy Steinberg (Celine Dion, Whitney Houston), "Sexual" was a worldwide smash for Amber and her second back to back #1. The breakout Thunderpuss remix spent 17 weeks at the top of the U.S dance chart. 4. Above the Clouds (Jonathan Peters). Written by the same team behind Celine Dion's "Falling Into You," "Above the Clouds" was Amber's followup to "Sexual" and proved to be nearly as potent. Although Thunderpuss contributed a remix, it was the Jonathan Peters mix that was the floor filler. 5. Love One Another (Pathos V2). "Love One Another" was originally included on the 1999 Amber cd but it was released as a single to promote 2000's "The Hits Remixed". The PathosV2 video version fueled the single to #1.6. Yes (HQ2). "Yes" is notable for it's use of lyrics from classic literature, which could well be a first in dance music history. Although it was a major club music hit for Amber, it didn't come without controversy over the use of the word "breast". "Just Like That" was the third and final dance music single, and the biggest hit, from Amber's "My Kind of World" album. Propelled by the Jason Nevins (Kelly Clarkson, Madonna) remix, the single hit the top ten on the U.S. dance radio chart.8. Melt With the Sun (Tracy Young). Although a trance song in it's original form, Tracy Young turned "Melt With the Sun" into a house music smash and Amber's core fan base ate it up. The song saw action on the Billboard Dance Club Play countdown as well as the World Trance chart.9. No More Tears (Enough is Enough) (Solar City). In 2008, Amber remade the Donna Summer/Barbra Streisand dance music smash "No More Tears (Enough is Enough)" with C+C Music Factory's Zelma Davis. The remix by Solar City helped make Ambers version a hit in clubs around the world.10. I Don't Believe in Hate (Drip Drop) (Yinon Yahel). Amber discovered the song "Drip Drop" on MySpace and instantly fell in love with it. She renamed her version "I Don't Believe in Hate (Drip Drop)" and released a hit remix by Yinon Yahel.
