While spring can be a little chilly, beaches still rule as the favourite family spring break destination; so if youre looking for a beach vacation without the chill, head south, far south! One nice quiet beach away from student spring break revellers is Fort Myers, Florida (unless you want to relive your youth of course!). Theme parks always make for an enchanted vacation when you have kids, and this area is one of the best, and the weather is almost always great. If youre worried about crows then there are plenty of others to choose from that may be nearer. Camping trips will always remain a favourite, especially for those who love the outside. The mountains in springtime provide spectacular views of trees coming in to bloom. For a child, there is nothing like waking up to the smell of bacon cooking on a camp stove. The biggest precaution to take is in bringing warm clothes, sleeping bags for cold weather, and being prepared for some cool mornings in general. Mother Nature is fickle in springtime. Lack of preparation can ruin one of these vacations, so beware.Sometimes a good road trip is just what the family needs. Many of these rides are no more than an hour long, but getting there is half the fun. These are just a few ideas for some good family fun either as a spring break or a little longer.
