One should know that there is a very minimal fee of $5 to have the request processed. If the requesting individual does not have any idea as to when the separation of the couple was legalized, a $2 additional processing fee has to be paid per year that is being looked into. One should go to the Vital Records Section in the state of Florida in order to get a copy of the certificate that is dated from 1927. For records prior to the given year, it has to be obtained from the county clerk office. One can also send a mail request to the state office but this may take a while.
