Due to this reason the customers were small in number.The wristwatches trend gets its height when soldiers used them in the battle. It changed the whole scenario very rapidly. There was change in perception of people on knowing the reason of why soldiers were using wristwatches. Pocket watches were distracting them from battle as it was hard to see time.During intense battle, soldiers strap the watches around their wrist, which makes it easier to see time. This technique helps in more co-ordination and synchronization because it was now easier to see the time and attack in more organized way.In year 1906 further advancement takes place in wrist watches due to introduction of many expandable bracelets which were better add-on to the strap made up of leather. This makes wrist watches more usable among soldiers. Also for the soldiers a metal covers were introduced to save the glass from breaking during the war.In spite of necessity these watches have become a status symbol. Many new companies have come in the market after world war -1 and each one of them have a different story of their evolvement. Many new designs and shapes were introduced. Dust free and water resistant watches landed up in market.There was a lot of scope in the market for the wristwatches for the women. Many companies take advantage of that and introduced various varieties according to the flavor and likes of the females. Many companies have now become a trademark in the market. They have earned this reputation through constant service to the customer and providing them what they need. There are lots of name to say but tag heuer is the one name that is religiously followed by wrist watch lovers. This is because of its consistent service to the customers.
