After you have made the decision to try and start a cash making business on the internet, just how do you begin? Well, most of us begin by looking at what's going on here. Doing queries on SEO's, looking for what's selling, checking hot trends to try and copy or follow, that sort of thing. But exactly how do you do that? Where can you really begin? What are you supposed to do? If you had the answer to those questions, your tribulations would be gone and you would be having at it, instead of reading this, correct? Then, first and foremost, I don't have all the answers, AND NEITHER DOES ANYONE ELSE! That's just being honest. Second, you quite honestly won't find anyone in here that will provide you with those answers. You will not find anyone who will not try to sell you their "solution", book, plan, or program that will make you a million dollars and you can work it from home with your family right there with you. Isn't that mostly what you have found? Honestly, aren't most of these "get rich quick" plans just exactly that? If you will just buy this "eBook", or "follow this program", or get these CD's you can make $45,000 a month just like I did! Here,... check my actual ClickBank monthly records... There are so many of those out there it is almost frightening. And we know most of them are cons that won't make you that kind of money, right? Okay Chuck, why have you written this article? I like to think of myself as someone similar to yourself. I began all this by going the "eBay/Direct Shipping" route. There are many very successful eBayer's out there, and you really need money to compete with them, which I didn't have. Now,... my next step was a precarious one. I began reading programs of instant wealth plans, get rich quick stuff, and all that "HOW TO DO IT" tripe. Yes, I am sorry to say that I tried a few. (That may be a fib, I tried more than a few...) Found out that there are more than enough people in here trying to get your money than can be imagined. And there went more of my funds that I didn't have to be spreading around that way... My next was affiliate marketing by PPC methods. Remember, I just said I didn't have the money to compete with the eBay/direct shippers, right? Well I sure as this world didn't have the money to do that!!! I tried it for 12 (twelve) HOURS...... that's right, 12 (twelve) HOURS and it put a hurt on my wallet like you can't imagine! Now, PPC marketing is fine,... it's really more than fine, it is excellent! But not if you don't have a ton of cash... In my first 12 (twelve) hours, I received 447,446 hits! That's a lot of traffic!!! However, there was not one purchase, and the cost was considerable. So I had to quit. But,...I learned one very important thing! You CAN get traffic, no matter what you are marketing! But I could not afford it that way. So, what's next? Well, here I am. I still "do affiliate marketing, but no longer through PPC. Would I ever again? Yes! However, it would be with a product that I KNEW WAS SELLING well, and I knew I could be patient for that first sale. It is extremely expensive! So,... what about making that first dollar? I have passed the first sale "milestone" and happily am on my way to my first gazillion now. Have I succeeded? My answer would have to be no, with a disclaimer. I am confident that I can now make a living in here. I have accomplished a lot, and I am ready to go. Why have you read this far? You want to know what (and how) I am doing to make money in here, correct? I have discovered that you can affiliate market for FREE! Yes, I did say FREE! What I have done, and if you are still reading you are hungry to do also, is exposed you to a way to make sales. ( Of whatever you are selling, be it your own products or as an affiliate.) That way is to write articles in forums or blogs, and just publish your little buns off! The more you write the more traffic you will realize.
