The best two ways to get free traffic has to be though social media and articles Not Just For Internet Marketers But Anyone that needs free traffic. I spent two years working with social media using it to get people interested in the programmes i was invested in and i must tell you the pros and cons of social media.PROS,1. Its Free2. Endless Stream of buyers3. Used the correct way you would never have to go anywhere else 4. Its 24 hour traffic5. You can use pages to promote any product or eventCONS,1. So many people use it to promote2. You have to spend a lot of time and effort building huge numbers of friends3. You are restricted to only 5000 friends4. ITS SO BORING5. Need to be careful not to spamLike i said i spent the first two years marketing using only social media and i must say the biggest problem i faced was really from me finding it so boring, I'm not a great fan of facebook and twitter at the best of times and then to try and use it to promote a product, well! It was hard work. But on the up side it really does work very well indeed.Twitter helped me to hit some of the top leader boards in some of the greatest online opportunities there are (at the time) and if harness the correct way social sites can flood you with sign ups and of course money.The two best ways to use social media that i found was...1. Show proof of what you have made with simple screen shots, WORKS A TREAT, gets people that are not normally interested in Internet marketing asking you questions.2. Facebook pages - again a great way to get people excited.There are a few things i soon learnt really don't work and the biggest of they all is never sell something always let it sell itself, you will see many more sign ups and people coming to you look for your product.Great Example -- You have to check this out great and easy way to make money --- This is a bad status update and your friends will soon block you----- (screenshot) so with your screen shot say something that in no way is selling its just telling--- Cant believe i got paid this week from YOURPRODUCT hope i get paid again next week so i can go shopping ..lol.That's the example of what you should be saying, just remember not to sell, just tell.The other amazing free traffic source has to be articles. I was a bit late in my Internet marketing career when i started using articles and i must say what a mistake that was.Articles are so powerful and i cant think of anything online more powerful to use for free traffic, the only one i can think of is adwords which would cost you an arm and leg.If you are thinking of writing articles here are a few guide lines that i use.1. Write about something you love2. Research the subject3. Don't try to hard to write , just let it flow4. only use DOFOLLOW article directories5.
