Pnr stands for personal name record and the ten digit number is allotted when ticket purchase takes place. Using the number one can find the status on Irctc site as well as the SMS service. The pnr search tool is fast an efficient and delivers results quickly. The sms pnr check works as fast and is popular among those not having access to Internet. One simply needs to fill in the ten digit number of the railway reservation site and get results. The whole enquiry process has become easier and fast. The online Irctc website also facilitates E & I ticket booking facility using online payment systems. Similarly one can use cancellation facility in order to cancel ones ticket reservation.
