As far as folkloristicevents is concerned, at Christmastime you cannot miss the Christmas markets,which take place in many villages and cities. Also carnival, notonly Christmas, is very important in these places: every year the Val di Fassahosts the colorful celebrations of the Ladin carnival, an ancient and stillvery appreciated happening. The Dolomites are also famous for the typical dishesthat you can taste in these beautiful mountains: if you spend your holidays inthe Dolomites, indeed, you can take part in many gastronomic events.
