But on Labor Day weekend the town comes alive with the Marfa Lights Festival and the locals and the tourist gather to watch and speculate about the lights. But true to Texas style the hotel rooms are big and the hospitality is genuine. You may feel you are out of the hustle and bustle of the big city but you can still find a luxurious hotel room with comfy oversized beds to recover from your days adventures in or you can choose to retreat in one of the towns many hotels that seem to blend in with the cowboy lure of yester year if you prefer small and quaint.
