In part, I also think that there's a tendency for travel plans to reflect how you are feeling at a particular point in time. I know, from my own experience, that there are occasions when I will want to do little more than spend time on the beach. These are periods when it becomes a necessity to relax and to take things easy.But that's not to say that I don't enjoy the thrill of visiting a vibrant city. If I've been having a stressful time at work, to take one example, then I may certainly feel that it makes much more sense for me to spend my time relaxing. But there will also be occasions when I find that I want to be exploring, visiting museums and actually being educated.Those are the times when I will consider booking a trip that includes a visit to a wonderful city. There's always the question of whether you should return to the same place on multiple occasions too. That's something that I find a struggle, simply because they are so many more places that I'd like to see.Although I may have had a great time in a particular city, there's always that desire to get out there and to see new places. In the end, I find that I have something of a mixture of approaches, combining return visits with that element of discovery that I love so much.As you read this article, you may find yourself agreeing with the idea that you have different requirements, depending upon how you are feeling.
