Bermuda is the perfect place for a luxury getaway and it's becoming more and more popular with the younger well-heeled set. While all holidays to Bermuda include the opportunity to soak up the sun, sea and sand, you may be surprised at the amount of sophisticated and very 'hip' nightlife on offer.For those who want to get out and dance all night, I'd like to share a few local tips I offer to my younger clients to make their holidays to Bermuda even more memorable.Cosmopolitan Ultra Lounge & NightclubCosmopolitan by name and cosmopolitan by nature, this is the 'it' venue in Hamilton. Six nights a week you can dance to the latest beats until 3am in the unique indoor/outdoor lounges. You'll feel like the VIP that you are as you enter via the red-carpet (what else?) and a long tunnel, which leads to the nightclub upstairs. If you like your cocktails al fresco, head to the main open air bar, or for something a little more chilled, the Ultra Lounge is furnished with comfortable sofas and a more relaxing atmosphere. Designed to provide an elegant, sophisticated clubbing experience, Cosmopolitan delivers on its mantra, with the latest European and American music under the skilled hands of renowned local and international DJs. Find it: Located right in the centre of Hamilton's main Front Street. Open 9pm-3am Mon-Sat.Club AquaAs you might guess by the name, Club Aqua is situated right on the beach, at the famous Royal Naval Dockyard. And when I say on the beach, I do mean on the beach. Part of the Snorkel Beach complex, this huge open air venue has a line-up of live music, DJs and even international VJs to get the party started. The bar serves up the regular supply of beer and wines, but there's also an extensive cocktails menu. This is one of the most popular clubs on the island, favoured by the many cruise ship passengers, and one of its great advantages is the free shuttle bus that operates to and from Hamilton and surrounding areas. If the weather's great (which is most of the time), under clear, starry skies, Club Aqua is the most fun you can have on the beach after dark!Find it: Snorkel Beach Park, Royal Naval Dockyard. Open 10pm-3am Mon-Sat.Ozone NightclubProbably the best known club on the island, Ozone's incredible 400 sq. ft. dance floor means it's also one of the busiest – and it's open seven days a week from lunch time. The dress code is more casual than the other more upmarket clubs, and it has a great atmosphere to match. There's a chic lounge area if you're looking to enjoy a few quiet cocktails, or, if you're feeling like really letting loose, head to the Rock Room for live and very loud music from visiting American bands. Laid back, super cool and lots of fun.Find it: 69 Front Street, Hamilton, 3rd floor. Open 12 noon-3am every day.Light NightclubIf you're over on the eastern side of the island, Light Nightclub, in the centre of St George, is situated right on the water at the White Horse Pub and Restaurant. Each night has a theme, including Island Fever, Ladies Night and Celebrity Crew Night, where you can party with the local glitterati. With a pretty spectacular lighting system and some of the island's top DJs doing what they do best, this is the place to go for some great action in the early part of the week.Find it: 8 King's Square, St. George.
