Even if you’ve been tricked into accepting it, they will try to charge you for the rose. These people are big thugs!Keep a water bottle at all timesCarry a bottle of water at all times. The water which is peddled to tourists is absurdly costly. For the equivalent of a 12 oz bottle of water bought from a street vendor, you can pay between 1.50 Euro – 2 Euro! At a corner store, the same bottle of water will cost you 1 Euro. An even better idea is to head to a grocery store and pay just about 0.19 Euro for a bottle of 1.5L! You’ll also find portable water coming out from fountains spread throughout the city. From here you can fill a reusable bottle while you are visiting the sites. Just avoid the non-potable and aqua non-potabile water.
