The assistant will take the following responsibilities:• Investigate and address customer’ queries on cross-border VAT filling in a timely manner.• Execute client onboarding procedures and maintain long-term relationship with Chinese and European clients• Support the preparation of VAT returns to appropriate deadlines.• Prepare monthly reconciliations of allocated bank accounts, investigating and clearing reconciling items promptly.• Report on the status of a portfolio of accounts and transactions Benefits:• Excellent working environment• Exposure to the professional service market Required skills:• MSc/BSc in accounting-related subjects• Fluency in written and spoken English AND either of Mandarin or Cantonese.• More than two years’ experience in accounting career• Strong organisation skills - ability to prioritise different tasks effectively• Strong interest in client-facing opportunities• Efficiency and effective communication skills• Results driven and self-motivated• Knowledge of MS office (especially Excel) How to apply• Please submit your CV and covering letter to Stephany at [email protected] ASAP
