When you connect your cable to the dish make sure that you use a cable connector that is for exterior connections, it will have a rubber boot that covers the connection and protects it from the weather. Secure any loose hanging cable to the outside surface nicely so it wont flop around when the wind blows and also so no birds will land on it. Make your final adjustments to the dish and you are good to go.
