Always remember that the stated specsof a machine do not always translate precisely to a real-worldenvironment.SecurityThis level 5 shredder is nearly unmatched when it comes to shredsize. Level 5 was previously the highest shred level until the NSAadopted the new spec for high-security shredding at a level 6. Thismachine will absolutely shred your sensitive documents to anunrecognizable state. If you are buying this machine you are mostlikely involved with the government or government contracting. If youare not, we recommend that you save a little bit of money by looking ata level 3 or 4 machine.Shredable MaterialThe Olympia 1700.1C High Security Shreddercan shred Paper.
