With thetechnology on offer, this is hardly a surprise. Of course, the dual-coreprocessor (slightly more powerful then the LG Optimus 2X ay 1.2 GHz dual-core)means users can enjoy high end performance. On top of this, the Samsung GalaxyS2 also provides a similar 8 megapixel camera to the Optimus 2X, although usersare treated to the latest version of Android, 2.3 (aka Gingerbread). TheSamsung Galaxy S2 has double the amount of internal storage (16GB) of the LGOptimus 2X, which offers only 8GB. This feature is only likely to affect asmall minority of users when deciding between these two handsets. As you can see, both handsets offer similar specificationsfor the most part. If you are trying to decide between the two, maybe thestyling of the phones will sway your decision. Well, there is very littledifference between the two here as well. Both have a shape reminiscent of theiPhone 4, but the Samsung Galaxy S2 is just 8.5mm thick compared to the 10.9mmif the LG Optimus 2X. Both of these phones represent the latest advances in moderntechnology, and offer superb performance. Again, these appear to be the only advantages the Samsung offering hasover the Optimus 2X, but both phones are very appealing indeed. Ultimately,being so similar, choosing one over the other comes down to personalpreference, maybe for the brand, or getting a great deal on one or the other.
