There are rumors that are being posted online that Samsung's, the South Korean electronics giant, next flagship smartphone the Galaxy S6 will feature "dual-edged" display meaning the right and left side of the smartphone will be curved. Similar to the "Galaxy Note Edge", which has a unique wraparound screen. It has been codenamed "Project Zero." Just last week, there were leaks that have been posted on tech blogs and forums about what appears to be specifications of Samsung's next flagship smartphone. The latest leaks is about the "dual-edged" screen. Jerry Kang who is a Senior Analyst of IHD Technology said during an interview with Korea Herald, "The Samsung Galaxy S6 which will be released next year will feature a "dual-edged" screen which is curved on the right and left sides." He also noted that Samsung was aware of potential customer's complaints about the curved display which is present only on the right side of the Galaxy Note Edge before the release of the phablet, but the company discard the plan for the dual edges at the last minute without any known reason. He also said that a lot of tech enthusiast and market experts said that lack of innovation on the part of the tech company as the major reason why they lost steam in the smartphone business. Last October, the company release their July-September quarterly profit which shows that it fall to the lowest in more than three years, referring to the decline in its earnings from the smartphone business as their worst year since 2011.The rumored specifications of the Galaxy S6 that was leaked last week shows that the upcoming smartphone with have a QHD (1440x2560 pixels) resolution screen the size is not yet known. It is also expected to sport a Sony IMX240 camera sensor 16 megapixel or 20 megapixel main camera at the back and a 5 megapixel secondary camera at the front. You can choose internal storage of 32GB, 64GB and 128GB.The Galaxy S6 is also rumored to have 64-bit octa-core Exynos 7420 processor (four Cortex-A53 & four Cortex-A57 cores), there will also be another variant that features a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor.This is just a leak and nothing was announced yet so expect some changes.
